Review: 2000 AD - Prog 2434
This issue begins with a new Judge Dredd story, and the rest excellently continues the current science fiction stories from 2000 AD, Prog 2434 from Rebellion.

JUDGE DREDD // THE FIRST 100 by Dan Abnett (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An interesting beginning from a slightly different point of view. It’s interesting to see how Dredd is viewed from other Judges (not just those who hate him) and it all adds into an interesting story.
ROGUE TROOPER // TIDES OF WAR by Andi Ewington (w) Paul Marshall (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
There’s a close call here, and I wonder who gets out of this caper. I like the tension and it feels almost silent as the attack on this behemoth of a boat begins…
GHOSTED // BOOK ONE by Guy Adams (w) Megan Huang (a) Simon Bowland (l)
It’s throwing some more problems here, and I like how this is a twofold battle. There are more who understand the secret, and I wonder if this is the fightback that will be about - ensuring the masses know what is happening underneath their noses?
SILVER // PERFIDIOUS by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
I’m wondering when the inevitable fightback will begin from Silver. She is taking many hits here, and I think (hope) she is biding her time. I like the dual stories going on here.
SCARLET TRACES // EMPIRE OF BLOOD by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The investigation continues, and there is an idea behind what is happening and how, but we don’t know the when. I like the little hints at humour here. Very British!
