JUDGE DREDD // THE FIRST 100 by Dan Abnett (w) Colin MacNeil (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
The next part of this arc continues and the look at Dredd from a rookie’s point of view is entertaining. I liked the joke part of it here and the buildup is going well.
ROGUE TROOPER // TIDES OF WAR by Andi Ewington (w) Paul Marshall (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Jim Campbell (l)
A bit of a sadder ending here, but this is war! I liked the action adn the tension building up here, but there is more to come.
GHOSTED // BOOK ONE by Guy Adams (w) Megan Huang (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Flitting between the two main characters was well done here, and I like the fallout from both predicaments. There is some tension at the end though…
SILVER // PERFIDIOUS by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (l)
The fightback! Finally! I really enjoyed this and it looks like there will be some big fallout from what happens here. Some interesting findings on the invaders too!
SCARLET TRACES // EMPIRE OF BLOOD by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
We get some slight answers here, and I like the silent way it was told through the art. Meanwhile, the infiltrators are looking at their attack. It will be interesting to see how these different parties eventually meet.
