JUDGE DREDD // CONFESSIONS OF A WINDOW CLEANER DROID by Ken Niemand (w) Nicolo Assirelli (a) Quinton Winter (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Completing this short story and it shows some more resources that Dredd can use. They do skirt close to breaking the law, but while they are useful, I think Dredd turns a blind eye. I did enjoy the humour though.
NU EARTH WAR TALES // THE MAJOR by Gordon Rennie (w) Jake Lynch (a) Dylan Teague (c) Jim Campbell (l)
The Major looks to be an interesting character and I would like to see Rogue’s reaction to him. This is a slightly slower build at this secret history of the GIs but I’m enojying it.
GHOSTED // BOOK ONE by Guy Adams (w) Megan Huang (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A nice twist to set up the finish of this story and I like the way we get to this point. Of course we need to see what comes next as there are some hurdles to cross both with the citizens and the physical type!
THARG'S 3RILLERS // FAR FROM EDEN by Alan Kerr (w) Ian Richardson (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Simon Bowland (l)
An interesting beginning, and I found myself thinking about Starship Troopers. The ending is a massive cliffhanger though and I love the tension in short order that we get.
SCARLET TRACES // EMPIRE OF BLOOD by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This slowed things down a little and we get some response from the average citizens. They’re scared and other things are happening. It was a clever issue and an interesting appearence at the end.
