Review: 2000 AD - Prog 2441
From Rebellion
A new story arc begins this week in 2000 AD, and other great stories continue. Check out my thoughts on Prog 2441 from Rebellion.

JUDGE DREDD // TUNNELS by Rob Williams (w) RM Guera (a) Giulia Brusco (c) Simon Bowland (l)
This goes right into the action. Dredd is, for once, thwarted, but I expect it is only temporary. I like how this issue moves, with a lot going on and a lot of action!
THE RAVILLIOUS PACT by T.C.Eglington (w) Steven Austin (a) John Charles (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Some family issues here, and this issue shows the stakes! I like how this is more human, without the demonic aspects (yet). The tension at the wake is well done too.
THARG'S 3RILLERS // RELICT: INVASIVE SPECIES by Honor Vincent (w) Lee Milmore (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A deep dive and a different type of protagonist. I like how this builds up with the threat and the teaching. You can feel the frustration here, and I like the twist at the end of this first issue.
AZIMUTH // ABANDONED BY GOD by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
A lot of talking for the most part in this issue, but it does a good job in not only explaining the problem, but setting up the future. Meanwhile, the ending gives us the beginning of some action!
SCARLET TRACES // EMPIRE OF BLOOD by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A short look at the German side of this story, and then onto the investigation. I like that they couldn’t just let it all slide, and it looks like there is going to be some problems as they are being watched…
