Review: 2000 AD - Prog 2443
From Rebellion
An excellent combination of stories in this week’s 2000 AD. Check out some of my thoughts of Prog 2443 from Rebellion.

JUDGE DREDD // TUNNELS by Rob Williams (w) RM Guera (a) Giulia Brusco (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Now we’re getting somewhere. I like the build-up to the questioning, and Dredd being Dredd was perfect here. He’s in a tough spot to find out what is going on, though, without good backup!
THE RAVILLIOUS PACT by T.C.Eglington (w) Steven Austin (a) John Charles (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Some interesting points raised here. First, on the aspect of the demons themselves and why they are like they are. Secondly, the artefact itself. This is building up well here.
THARG'S 3RILLERS // RELICT: INVASIVE SPECIES by Honor Vincent (w) Lee Milmore (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A bittersweet ending. This story’s style is unique, and you can feel the sorrow. I like how it plays out, though, and the characters' commentary was excellent.
AZIMUTH // ABANDONED BY GOD by Dan Abnett (w) Tazio Bettin (a) Matt Soffe (c) Jim Campbell (l)
The comments on what came before was excellent here, and although it lacked action, it really added to the story. I like the interactions here, and wonder where this will move to. Meanwhile the fight isn’t as one-sided as first thought!
SCARLET TRACES // EMPIRE OF BLOOD by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
One problem seems to be close to being sorted, but there is more to come from the error of the last issue I am sure. I like the methods and style of this story and the reasoning is very sound.
