JUDGE DREDD // DEATH OF A JUDGE by John Wagner (w) Mike Perkins (a) Chris Blythe (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A good conclusion to the arc, with Dredd’s reaction to the history of the perp begging a classic Dredd. It does seem like a minor crisis has been advertised. We do get what is advertised, and I got the feeling of the death of Rico in this ending.
HERNE & SHUCK // POWER TRIP by David Barnett (w) Lee Milmore (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
In two parts again and Herne learns some new things here and there is some hope for the future. Shuck gets some fun and I wonder if what Herne learns aids what Shuck is going through!
JUDGE DEE by Ben Wheatley (w) Simon Coleby (a) Jack Davies (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Things are ramping up for Dee and even her resident demon has trouble here. I like the psi aspect in this story and the art continues to be unique.
THARG'S 3RILLERS // MONEY SHOT: HIGH STAKES by Kek-W (w) Rob Richardson (a) Rob Steen (l)
An action-packed finish here with an ending that makes you want more. I like all the different aspects in it with a wry bit of humour!
THE DISCARDED by Peter Milligan (w) Kieran McKeown (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
More action and battles in the junk and there is a gradual erosion continuing off the beliefs of the undercover cop!
