JUDGE DREDD // CLIMATE CRISIS by Rob Williams & Ned Hartley (w) PJ Holden (a) Jack Davies (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A new story and the use of a lesser-remembered aspect of Mega City One. Setting up the threat nicely with some great action.
HERNE & SHUCK // POWER TRIP by David Barnett (w) Lee Milmore (a) Gary Caldwell (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A nice twist and we get to see how the investigation into St Michael is going too. There is more to this than meets the eye, and I like how it is set up. Herne is in a tough spot, but hopefully he will use his head! Plus, some demonic aspects to deal with in government!
JUDGE DEE by Ben Wheatley (w) Simon Coleby (a) Jack Davies (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Crosses and double-crosses, what do you expect from demons, this is getting deeper into the horror of the Psi aspect and is becoming quite clever.
THARG'S TERROR TALES // FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH by Andi Ewington (w) Mike Walters (a) Rob Steen (l)
A dark tale with a nice horror twist to it. Getting older is not all it’s cracked up to be, and this is a great addition to the anthology.
THE DISCARDED by Peter Milligan (w) Kieran McKeown (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Building on the junkfall mythos and problem after problem. I like how this is dealt with and how the doubts keep creeping in. Next issue looks to be a fun one as this story moves things on fast!
