JUDGE DREDD // CLIMATE CRISIS by Rob Williams & Ned Hartley (w) PJ Holden (a) Jack Davies (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An all-action issue, with the threat levels ramping up - plus there are the issues on the ground. I love the use of Dredd’s face in this issue and how that plays out.
THARG’S 3RILLERS // WHO IS ADRIAN APOLLO? by Liam Johnson (w) Steven Austin (a) John Charles (c) Rob Steen (l)
More thriller action and the twist at the end of the issue shows some interesting inconsistencies - I thought it couldn’t be that simple! The use of the fuel as an economic weapon was an excellent idea!
FUTURE SHOCKS // STRICTLY BUSINESS by James Peaty (w) Mike Walters (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
An entertaining Future Shock, although I do think that the twist was telegraphed. Even so, the setup and the artwork is excellent and fitting to the anthology feel of it all.
BRINK // THE CALL OF THE VOID by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Bridget gets her orders, and the sect issue and politics are well done. I like the twists and different characters being used in this story.
THE DISCARDED by Peter Milligan (w) Kieran McKeown (a) Jim Boswell (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Building up to the end of the story here, and the father/daughter reunion is not going well. Although there is some closure for the duo. The madness of the chip is well done, and I love the colouring in this story.
