JUDGE DREDD // FLAMES AND WHITE PHOSPHOROUS by TC Eglington (w) Paul Marshall (a) Quinton Winter (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
This is becoming a clever story for Dredd with three aspects of investigation - all linked towards a different version of justice. The addition of the dirty Judge is excellent, and adds more trouble!
HELIUM // RED OCTOBER by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Throwing us straight into the action since the events of last issue, and this has some excellent panels and sets us up nicely for what is to come. I liked the threat, and the colouring is superb!
SILVER // MALIGNANT by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (c) Simon Bowland (l)
Silver returns, and although she isn’t in this issue much, she does make an impact! I like how this was told over time and the way the ordinary people are treated. It will be interesting to see how this moves on.
BRINK // THE CALL OF THE VOID by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
This issue twisted on the characters really well at the end - it had me grinning as to what may come next, and I like how it was subtly done.
FUTURE SHOCKS // CLEAN SLATE by Liam Johnson (w) Lucas McCoy (a) Rob Steen (l)
A predictable future Shock, but still entertaining to read. I enjoyed the artwork and the characters' frantic looks. There were some nice jokes about past online history, too.
