JUDGE DREDD // FLAMES AND WHITE PHOSPHOROUS by TC Eglington (w) Paul Marshall (a) Quinton Winter (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
I really enjoyed how this story is moving forward. The rogue Judge and the possibility of more. Dredd has the right ideas, and it looks like we are getting closer to a conclusion.
BRINK // THE CALL OF THE VOID by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
The fallout from Bridget is well done, adding to the tension of the story. I like the duo's reactions, and it seems like things are being sorted. Was that a reaction from the Chief, though? Hmmm!
SILVER // MALIGNANT by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (a) Simon Bowland (a)
As Silver recuperates, we get updates from the others. First up, the other side, with a clever bit of politics and the blame game. Meanwhile, the resistance has its own views on Silver, and I think that will put her in a tough position.
FUTURE SHOCKS // THE VESSEL by James Peaty (w) Steve Yeowell (a) John Charles (c) Rob Steen (l)
This future shock had a classic 1950’s science fiction feel with some great art, and a well-told beginning. The final panel works well, and the colouring is clever.
HELIUM // RED OCTOBER by Ian Edginton (w) D'Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A new location and the fallout from the fall out! I like the character interactions and the way they get sorted. The reveal at the end adds to the story as does the comment made…
