JUDGE DREDD // CROSSED LINES by Ken Niemand (w) Andrea Mutti (a) Pippa Bowland (c) Annie Parkhouse (l)
A fun finish to this short story, and I love how it links in with the flashbacks. We hear Dredd say things I never thought he would say, too!
BRINK // THE CALL OF THE VOID by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
An excellent issue, and giving us a looming threat to worry about. This certainly adds to the tension of the story, while also bringing some of the characters closer together.
SILVER // MALIGNANT by Mike Carroll (w) Joe Currie (c) Simon Bowland (l)
A good combo issue. We move Silver’s story forward with someone just like her; meanwhile, we get some action and see the points of view from the resistance and the collaborators!
THARG’S 3RILLERS // POSTER GIRL by Paul Starkey (w) Paul Marshall (a) Dylan Teague (c) Rob Steen (l)
Slightly predictable but enjoyable nevertheless, with a creepy finish. I like the rush at the end, and the artwork really got it with that reveal!
HELIUM // RED OCTOBER by Ian Edginton (w) D’Israeli (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Some creepy revelations and some great artwork. Setting up for a battle in the next issue and moving the story on fast.
