We’re nearing the conclusion of this entertaining tale. This time, we get the story of Mr. Justice from Betty's point of view.
Initially, Betty is the classic damsel-in-distress, with her dual roles of being Archie’s girlfriend and being present when Mr. Justice is in play.
This issue well demonstrates Betty's evolution as a character. Starting as always in peril, Betty gains her agency, bringing her into more danger than before. This strains her relationship with the titular hero.
There are some excellent moments in this action, with various villains and robots fighting against Mr. Justice, and some classic action moments. Meanwhile, some aspects in the background link in with previous (and, I expect, future) issues.
I’m looking forward to seeing the conclusion to this series, and I think that it works well as single issues, as the build is working well.
