Review: Archie Is Mr. Justice #4
From Archie Comics
Completing this mini-series from Archie Comics, Archie Is Mr. Justice #4 rounds it all off in this excellent, experimental series.
This is it-the heart-wrenching conclusion to the epic four-part series is here. We finally get the perspective of Archie’s lifelong friend-turned-enemy Reggie Mantle.
What went wrong that sent these two young men on such different paths? And can the power of jealousy, resentment, and fear be the most destructive of all?
Archie's first serious take on superherhoes starring the core Riverdale cast concludes in an explosive, emotional finale by Blake Howard and Federico Sabbatini.
This was an emotional ending to the story, and this has been a very special mini-series from Archie Comics.
With the point of view being posted in previous issues, we now get to the villain of the story, Kid Wicked.
Kid Wicked isn’t all wicked here, and there is a very genuine story arc going on with him here, and it plays out exceptionally well in the context of the story and the community involved.
That’s not to say that you end up supporting Kid Wicked, but in a special way you can understand him, the how and then why he got to the point and the big finish with Mr. Justice.
The legacy of the decisions made site with all the characters at the end, and hopefully leaving the world a better place for it.
This is a very clever mini-series, and with the experimental aspect to the storytelling, it also adds something for each character and learning too.
If you haven’t caught up, I would recommend getting the TPB!
