A lot of setup for the mission ahead here. That doesn’t mean there isn’t much action amongst the planning and character moments (which are excellent). The action is grounded though, in the ruins of a city with some close combat and more immediate threats. I like the way this is playing out and the seeds of a potential conflict in the future…

I enjoyed this issue as the threat to and from Hookjaw wasn’t humankind. This time it is a rogue Orca, and the the battle between them is immense!
I liked how the humans are stuck in the middle here. And the artwork is excellent combining the watery aspects and the scenes of battle.
