New this week from Dynamite Comics is the original eco-warrior with Captain Planet #4.
With the Planeteers in disarray, Wheeler has a fateful choice to make — rejoin his wayward friends, or pledge his allegiance to the ambitions of Lucian Plunder! Yet with Captain Planet sidelined following Wheeler's departure, Kwame and the other Planeteers must use their powers to embark on a dangerous raid of the mysterious Eclipse Station — but when Plunder's secret weapon is finally revealed, can our fledgling heroes rally together to save the world?

Disarray is the right word for the adventures in this issue. There are some great moments where the remaining Planeteers attempt to launch an attack, but things are happening behind the scenes that make that a lot more difficult.
I must admit, I must have been forgetful about my Captain Planet lore, as the ending I didn’t see coming, but it was an ‘Ah, yes’ moment that links everything together well and gives a big bad to fight against in this initial arc.
I’m glad it’s not all about Captain Planet. Although he doesn’t get in on the action, he does have a subtle influence that drives the story well.
This issue has some excellent art and action-packed storytelling, and fits in very nicely with today's world!
