Ever since she was born, Cinderella has played by her own rules, which probably explains her lack of logic and boundaries. So when an evil being develops a way to change the very fabric of time to meet its own needs, accidentally involving Cindy is the last thing they or even she wanted. Now, forced to save reality to save herself, the serial killer princess must fight sword and nail through millions of years of history if she plans to survive this insane adventure!
Writer: Dave Franchini, Artwork: Jordi Tarragona, Jordi Perez, Salvatore Cuffari & Manuel Preitano, Colors: Juan Manuel Rodriguez & Leonardo Paciarotti, Letters: Taylor Esposito (Of Ghost Glyph Studios), Editor: Dave Franchini, and Production & Design: Christopher Cote
Throwing our favourite crazed, killer princess into some new situations, we start with a fun take on the Guardians Of The Galaxy! Where does this all come from? It doesn’t matter, as the manner of Cindy’s mind and her story constantly have you lurching from place to place.
Even so, there is some exciting logic in this one as we delve into more than that. There are some interesting time-travel shenanigans, including some way of talking their way around any possible paradoxes, in more ways than one, as Cindy not only plays around with the rules of time and space but also with her own history. Hopefully, that part of the story will come full circle, and we will get an entertaining resolution.
In terms of the who story, though, we get someone for Cindy to fight against and some interesting partnerships and betrayals within. I like the comments about some of her previous adventures. Cindy does seem to bounce from one to another, but the nature of this story and what it may promise to give me hope that things may settle down for a while.
The artwork has a lot of fun with the story's sky, water, past, present, alien and earthly settings. There is some fun with the angles of the story and some nice well-placed moments.
It is always a pleasure here, and I hope for a return for many of the characters in this story.
