Out this week in print and digital formats, Skye’s team-up with the beast hunter continues in Grimm Fairy Tales #84 from Zenescope Entertainment.
The world is full of many terrifying mysteries that lie within the deepest, darkest depths of human knowledge, and not so luckily for Skye Mathers, Guardian of the Nexus, she’s just disturbed some of the worst horrors to escape from there. Teaming up with Anabelle “Belle” DiMarco, they must embark on a mission to not only save the lives of those they love, but potentially all innocent life on the planet.

Following the last issue, Skye and Belle are in the wrong place. Forced to do the bidding of the shadowy group, this issue has a few layers to work through.
As teased in the previous issue, there seems to be a slight way out, but even so, we’re not there yet.
We don’t have a full idea of the whole threat yet, but from the ending of this issue, I can guess that something has been released from somewhere else, and from the look on the faces of the villains of the piece, this isn’t what they wanted.
It was a good issue, though, with both Belle and Skye giving some interesting internal commentary, and the link and relationship between them is well played out. I like the team-up against the zombies; their fate is especially chilling.
There is a lot of action in this story, and it looks like more to come as we move forward. It’s good after the big story arcs, we have had to have these shorter ones, and I enjoy reading them
