The plan continues, while on the other side, things may be going a little wrong in Nemesis Forever #2 from Dark Horse Comics.

Whoa—Nemesis Forever #2 is a wild ride from start to finish, and that ending? Absolutely explosive! This issue ramps things up in a big way, tightening the noose around every character while teasing just how far Nemesis is willing to go to pull off his master plan.
Let’s start with Nemesis himself, because he’s in complete form here. Cold, calculated, and utterly ruthless, he’s playing everyone like pieces on a chessboard. When a nosy journalist starts digging a little too deep, Nemesis doesn’t hesitate to “handle” the situation in a terrifyingly efficient way. It’s classic supervillain logic—killing two birds with one sharp, stylish stone. But as slick as he is, you can’t help but wonder: Is he getting too confident for his own good? There are hints that his arrogance might be opening cracks in his plan, and that tension makes this issue so much fun to read. You’re never sure if he’s ten steps ahead… or one step away from disaster.
Meanwhile, the planning side of things gets some clever focus too. This remarkable sequence involving a “unique” interview process is way more than it seems. It’s a brilliant setup and payoff—precisely the kind of clever twist this series thrives on. The undercover element adds a nice layer of spy-thriller energy, and we even get some time to meet the other members of this shady crew. Let’s say “unsavoury” is putting it lightly! They each bring their own flavour of chaos to the table, and it’s a treat seeing how these personalities clash and mix.
Of course, as with any intricate scheme, the best-laid plans start to wobble. Without spoiling too much, a moment hits hard and sets up some serious trouble ahead—not just for the operation, but for some of the characters personally. The kind of twist makes you instantly want the next issue in your hands.
Visually, Nemesis Forever continues to impress. The artwork absolutely nails the mood: dark, stylish, and dripping with atmosphere. The colours are moody without ever feeling muddy, and the linework gives everything this razor-sharp edge that matches Nemesis’s personality perfectly. Every panel feels cinematic, like a frame from a neo-noir film. You can practically feel the tension in the air.
In this series, Nemesis Forever #2 is another knockout entry—tense, clever, and full of attitude. It keeps the pace tight, the stakes high, and the characters deliciously unpredictable. With the groundwork being laid for what’s clearly a massive payoff down the line, this issue leaves you both thrilled and uneasy in the best possible way.
Can’t wait to see how Nemesis’s “perfect” plan unravels—or explodes—in the next issue. This is shaping into one of the most thrilling and stylish villain-led stories.
Verdict: A sharp, suspenseful, and explosively entertaining chapter that proves Nemesis is always one step ahead… for now.
