The second arc begins here with the vampire club starting anew. Night Club II #1 is out this week from Dark Horse Comics.
After last year’s smash hit series, your favourite vampire super-heroes are back!
The only problem is that they’ve all fallen out and Sam is never going to forgive Danny for dating the girl he loves. Is he about to start his own rival vampire gang?

At the end of the first volume, I had some sneaking suspicions about where this next volume would lead, and to some extent, I was correct.
Even so, this was enjoyable and looked to move in ways that I wasn’t expecting. Never a bad thing, and this starting issue is suited to new readers as well as people who have read the first volume.
The superhero aspect was well played out, and adding in the social media aspects work out well and add to the enthusiasm of the teenage vampires. I liked the use of the police force here and their reaction and the comment about them changing into bats did make me smile.
Meanwhile, there is a degree of dissention in the ranks, where Sam is going on his own path - and it looks like this is one that will put him on a collision course with the rest of the crew.
This was an excellent issue one. Setting up the story, briefing over what has happened before, and getting the characters in their correct places.
I like the character work here, and the artwork is excellent, from the action to the more mystical elements of the story.
