We’re at the mid-point of this mini-series, and Oz: Fall Of The Emerald City #2 from Zenescope Entertainment gives us more information.
Polychrome has arrived to save the Emerald City from all who threaten to harm it, and many of its citizens already worship this glorious and powerful deity. Dorothy Gale has a feeling that Polychrome’s promises of peace and resurrection are too good to be true. But can she do anything to stop the Goddess from taking control?

I knew not to trust Polychrome! Everything was all too nice! This issue brings it home, and there looks to be a lot to pack in for the final issue of the mini-series, so I’ll be interested to see how that plays out.
This issue also brings us some interesting new dimensions to the land of Oz, and there is a good trip over the rainbow.
I enjoyed this issue a lot more than the beginning. There was some storytelling about the origins of Polychrome and what she did before. It also gives us some detail on how she was defeated. Will this give us a clue about how to defeat her? Maybe. I like Polychrome’s attitude and how she seems to think she is doing everything for the best. She is totally convinced that she is in the right and she knows best.
This issue had a good amount of action with the undead and a near bit of action as Dorothy and the rest investigate further. The limitation on the magic was good, too.
