As we’re in the middle of the story, things move fast in this issue. We got some interesting backstories with Pooh and Tigger, and their reactions were very interesting. Adding the game of Pooh Sticks was well done and added a fun part to the story.
From there, we get some good action as Pooh and Piglet look to infiltrate the island of Kanga (and Roo) and discover what is happening.
It’s quite a twisted tale, and I’m not sure who to trust and who is in the right, but even so, I look forward to checking out how this all ends.
There is some excellent artwork—both in the flashback scenes and in the ‘now’. The action includes some fast-paced fighting and giant spiders. The battles are well played out and have clever panelling in this story.
For a lot of content, this is a fast-paced story and it manages to squeeze in some good story, action and references to all the characters of the 100-acre wood.
