New, and out this week, from Zenescope Entertainment, is a new one-shot story. This is Robyn Hood: Last Stop.
Deep below, in the New York subway tunnels, something is feeding in secret off the flesh of the city’s lost souls. Fighting to save herself and a handful of passengers after a train accident, Robyn finds herself trapped underground and in the creature’s deadly path. Can she save everyone before the killer in the shadows gets them first?

A dark beginning and something in the tunnels under the city. This looks to be something old and violent. It is an excellent introduction to Robyn and why she finds herself below the streets.
There is an interesting group, and it works well with the different characters. I think there is something more in the event that leads Robyn to fight this creature, and I’m sure it’s going to be referenced in future adventures of Robyn.
Once we are underground, things move on pretty fast with some claustrophobic action and some tight action shots. These play out well, and Robyn’s long-range and short-range attacks work well. She also has something else in her arsenal which works well here.
The story moves things on well, and this is an excellent done-in-one story, with some good action, character moments and a moral at the end. The ending also teases what may be to come for Robyn.
