This was an excellent issue. Combining the now, while also teasing things to come for the future.
Time travel can be a tricky thing. There’s the butterfly effect and spoilers from beyond, and this issue has a lot of that. Coming to the past, to stop a horrible future coming to pass, this new adventure has a few shocks and twists in it.
I like how it plays out as we get someone from the future who doesn’t hold back as much as Space Ghost. It’s a clever story and leads you down one path, and then jumps to another.
It’s not short on action for all involved, with pitched battles and some excllent scenes as the Space Ghost team try to stop the destruction and violence. I like how there are some difficult choices to be made, and some alliances (although short-lived) which add something new to this world.
Along with the prophesized doom, there is some nice teases going forward for Space Ghost, and I wonder if they can work their way out of it all.
An excellent issue.
