This was an issue I had been hoping to come along! All the gang had been getting their time to shine, but Leo always seemed away from it all. There had been jobs and connections between all the brothers as they settle into their new status quo, Leo was the leader of the Splinter Clan, but that seemed all it was.
This issue adds something to Leo and also opens up Mutant Town to something different.
This is a club where humans and mutants can get along. Albeit a fight club where they battle each other, but nevertheless, it is all done well.
Leo's bonding with Casey was especially well done. He is a character that shares most of his time with either April or Raph. So seeing him have some quality time works well with this story.
The art and the fight scenes work really well, full of action and motion, with some nice touches in the fight. And I enjoyed the way the story progresses to the end as Leo returns home.
Talking of home, there is something else going on in the background, and it looks like there is going to be something coming out of that involving Hob.
