Two new one-shot stories building on the mutant-centric shared universe.
First, before Raphael’s latest adventure, there is an entertaining story with Pepperoni. It’s a cute, fun story about some of Raphael’s items and money being stolen. Pepperoni thinks they can get them back, and hijinks ensue!
Some entertaining moments are followed involving a thief, a car, cats and more. It strengthens the bond between Pepperoni and Raphael and is an excellent interlude between stories.
Next up are the punk frogs, taking on the Purple Dragons. The yuppie developers are moving into Mutant Town. Using the Purple Dragons as security for their development causes them to conflict with the three frogs.
From this, we have a fun fight scene which causes all to come tumbling down…
This has a fun twist that I won’t spoil but it is amusing for the characters.
This was a great buffer, and it caught us up with characters who needed to be used and weren’t currently part of the main storylines. This is a fresh addition to the TMNT line with some entertaining art and action scenes.
