This was an excellent and shocking issue, starting off with an origin and a link to a past villain of the TMNT (one that I expect will cause further problems).
Jenny is struggling in this battle with Lao Ban. He’s huge, violent, and enhanced. I liked how the fight worked out, with Lao Ban baiting and commentary as he went on.
This was an action-packed issue, with some interesting backstory for Jenny and the sacrifices she has made for this quest that she has put herself on. It looks like it will bounce back in the future, and I like this addition to the story.
The change in Jenny/Nightwatcher is interesting - not just with the power and enhancements that come with it, but the change in tone and potential darkness lurking in the background.
This was an end of the arc, and an interesting turning point for the characters.
