There is a lot to take into this issue. First, we get the beginnings of the attack on Stockman's island. It starts off interestingly and young Casey seems to excel in the battle. This fight moves nicely into a flashback, before the attack. Michaelangelo comments on her training and fighting style. This works well as we see how he has changed and is taking on the role of teacher. It's a good scene and works well in this larger style story. Meanwhile, Michaelangelo and April have an interesting discussion on Casey and her abilities. These are things that make sense too.
This leads us into a further flashback to the fate of the rest of the family. It's a sad scene and needs to be told. Splinter and Donatello with the fate that we knew about. I like the change in the art for the story being told.
Back to the battle and interspersed with flashbacks to the planning, it's pretty much all out from here. With the fight being taken to Baxter and some measures of revenge for April and the rest. This is the lead up to the end game and well told.
The action was well told here and has some excellent scenes. Different art styles mesh well here, and this has been an amazing, emotional run.
The final battle is nearly here...
