Review - TMNT: Mutant Nation #8
From IDW Publishing
More from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe from IDW Publishing, with Mutant Nation #8.
When Angel takes her malfunctioning Nobody suit to Harold’s lab for a repair, she discovers it’s not as simple as taking her laptop to the local computer store. In fact, it’s ridiculous! Guest-starring Fugitoid!

There are two excellent short stories, both of which do an admirable job of expanding this TMNT universe and letting other characters shine.
First up is an excellent story of Angel getting to grips with her new suit. It has some upgrades, but there are glitches. The question is, is it the user or the suit?
It appears to be both. Angel has been so used to the workings of her suit that these changes are a problem. Luckily, some live testing (instead of the abuse from Harold) makes her get to grips with it all in some way. This was a well-planned story and kept Angel in the eye of the universe.
Next up, we get a combination of the days of Sally and Stockman. It’s a cleverly bisected story with different viewpoints and methods by both characters. The paneling and way the story is told is enjoyable in this short story, and by the time the two come together, you get a good idea of what they are both about.
This series, particularly this comic, does an excellent job of looking at other characters in the mutant-centric TMNT universe!
