Review: Transformers #34
From IDW Publishing this week is the ongoing Transformers series...
“Sea of Rust,” part one! Megatron has learned that his former mentor, Termagax, holds a key artifact that could tip the scales of the war firmly in the Decepticons’ favor, eliminating the Autobots once and for all. The first order of business, of course, is finding Termagax’s House, a mobile building on the run. And as tensions erupt between Megatron’s Decepticons and his old mentor, the Autobots put themselves in the crossfire!

Starting a new arc and we get some more to the mythos of Cybertron and the Transformers.
The Sea of Rust is an interesting point in Cybertron, and the worms that live there seem to be a final solution. Losing one of the Deceptions in this manner is pretty brutal.
Keeping a lot of the character in the air, we get some Soundwave (and Soundblaster!) On top of that, there is an interesting aspect with Shockwave.
We get some more of the past too. With not only the enigma of creation and the Matrix, but also some more. Is that the Skysword?
There is a lot of action here, with a swarm and a defensive house. It is highly enjoyable. That final panel brings a fan favourite in!
