Review: Transformers #43
Out now from IDW Publishing, it's Transformers #43.
End of the road! Optimus Prime leads the Autobots in a desperate battle on multiple fronts-against the maniacal Decepticons, against the swarming Insecticlones, against the teeming rust worms, against Cybertron itself. But how many problems will the Autobots be able to solve and what offer could stop their journey? An extra-long final issue leading to next month's Transformers Special 2022!

This large-sized issue does an excellent job of keeping all the characters together while dealing with the double threat of the worms and the Insecticlones.
With a title such as this, there are a lot of characters to keep track of, and it can be difficult for the reader to keep up with it all. Nevertheless, this issue starts to bring some of those together. There are some excellent character and team moments, with some well-done action moments. I was especially happy to read the aspects of the speech in the senate, as well as the flashback to a young (?) Optimus Prime. He seems very serious and you can see the aspects of him to come.
The art is well done, with changing aspects depending on the locations, action, darkness and firefights, these were well done.
The ending is very interesting, I want to see what is coming up. This looks to be a good ending to the arc, and possibly the next step for Cybertron.
