Two new titles are out this week from Vault Comics - new series Door To Door Night By Night and the second arc begins of West Of Sundown.
Door To Door Night By Night #1
The Heritage Mills sales team travels from town to town, knocking on doors. They're the best at what they do... which also means they're the worst. They're broken, each and every one of them, haunted by closets so full of skeletons, they're bursting. When they discover a terrible secret behind one fateful door, it opens their eyes to a world full of real monsters hidden in every small town.

Wow! That was certainly something after reading that! The build in this issue draws you in. After the initial start, the issue is peppered with some cleverly done introductions to the team, with some good dialogue and interactions between them. they are certainly a different group, which builds the bond between them.
The twist in this tale is artfully done. It is well hinted at and uses the comic medium well, as the turn of a page shocks you with the response.
There is some excellent art here - showing the differences between the characters and the times of day well. The darkness of the final pages works out well as the dawn approaches.
Where does this go from here? I have no idea, but I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.
West of Sundown #6
The New Mexico town of Sangre De Moro has accepted its strange new residents: a vampire, her thrall, Frankenstein's monster, and the would-be mad scientist, Griffin. But a new threat has come for the evil-saturated soil of the mesa: Aristide Moreau and his strange companions.
Writers: Tim Seeley & Aaron Campbell, Artist: Jim Terry, Colorist: Triona Farrell, Letterer: Crank! & Designer: Tim Daniel
Following on from the initial arc and there is a new status quo. I like how it begins; you can feel the tensions in this small town. Things do seem to be working, though. Sort of - there is an excellent introduction to the group with the appearance of a Banshee. This was well done, with some good action and an exciting conclusion.
The tension in the town builds up well, with some good aspects between the townsfolk and the monsters. There is something more, though; the teases are at an excellent pace and build well until the reveal. This reveal has two good aspects - there is the part with a name and something more visual at the end. An excellent way to play this.
There are some excellent scenes here, and the art is well shown, with some good character scenes and well-played-out moments and interactions between them It’s a bit light on the action here, but it is building towards some. The colour schemes work out well too.
