Out this week from IDW Publishing, here are my thoughts on Dungeons & Dragons: Saturday Morning Adventures and the road to issue #150 continues in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #147.
Dungeons & Dragons: Saturday Morning Adventures #1
Some time has passed since the team's adventure in Waterdeep. Now Dungeon Master is growing weaker with an unknown ailment, and while thoughts of returning home are never far from their minds, the team must save their mentor and friend. Sailing between planes in their Spelljammer, the party finds themselves on the swashbuckling Sword Coast. With Venger closing in and pirates blocking the way forward, can our heroes cure Dungeon Master before it's too late?

I’ve always had some love for the original TV show, and I’m glad to jump into this one. Admittedly, I did miss the original series of this from IDW, but luckily you soon get into it.
With the Dungeon Master ill, the gang are looking for a cure. This takes them into the cold, with ice and Ice Trolls to deal with. There is some good action scenes and entertaining art throughout this issue, and the scenes are well played out which comic and cartoon series fans should enjoy.
We move away from the ice to the seas, well above them, and is more action to contend with. I like the introduction of new characters and fans of the TV show and the game should also appreciate it.
There is only a little bit of Venger to worry about here, but I’m sure his hand at least will be felt in future issues.

Armaggon's intentions are revealed, and it's worse than Donatello could have ever imagined... The very fabric of reality is at stake-and back in the present, Leonardo's new protégé is on a path toward destruction! Can Donnie find a way to stave off Armaggon's attack or is it time for the TMNT? The road to #150 continues here!

Time and reality travel shenanigans are still abounded in this issue, with some future and present issues to be dealt with. The split between the characters in this is interesting, and I really enjoy the action pieces. The spaced-out factor of April and Carman was interesting, and I wonder if that is linked to how future Raphael is.
Bob seems to be the interesting constant between the two stories, and the full story about him in the future is yet to be fully out there, but his link to Armaggon is something that has caused more problems for the clan.
The artwork in this continues to be excellent,, and I enjoy the colouring. There are many different scenes to enjoy here.
