Taking the murder hotel and the interest in serial killers, this horror special tells us some short tales of the depraved individuals who wish to visit.
After the first story, which features a couple who are fans of Jack The Ripper, you get the gist of the story, but what is entertaining is how these stories take the theme and run with it. They are all pretty inventive, taking in the Zodiac Killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy as well. Each of the featured characters gets some semblance of comeuppance, and their methods of receiving this is quite gratifying as you learn what sort of person they are. There are some serious morals being shown here.
The artwork is consistent throughout, with some fun being had, with grisly murders, zombies, shootings, and explosions. And excellent Halloween Read.
Wonderland Annual: Out Of Time
The world of Wonderland can be a confounding and dangerous place. For Calie Liddle and her daughter Violet, it has led to lives of pain and unhappiness. Now they have a chance to change that by going back in time to stop the original sins that created the Madness in the first place but the path is treacherous, and there are those who will stop at nothing to make sure the Liddles fail in their mission.

Time travel is always a fun story. In this case, Calie and Violet are working to stop the madness infection in Wonderland.
Things like this don’t always go to plan.
Even so, this was entertaining, and it moves the Wonderland story on really well. There are some interesting shenanigans in both the past, the present and the future. We can see how the madness is working and the influence of the Jabberwocky through time.
The aspects through time had different degrees of entertainment. Although this issue wasn’t all-action, there was still a good amount to go round, especially fighting prehistoric beasts and the attack by another relative.
This finished well, but there is still something more for this story - highly entertaining.
