Reviews - Nemesis: Forever #1 & Huck: Big Bad World #4
From Dark Horse Comics
Two new comics this week from Dark Horse Comics, both written by Mark Millar. Here are some thoughts on Nemesis: Forever #1 and Huck: Big Bad World #4.
Nemesis: Forever #1
Nemesis is the world’s most dangerous man and now he’s made himself into one of the richest. No longer content just to terrorize the forces of law and order, his new plan is to wreak havoc on his enemies and seize control of the world itself and enslave humanity with super-technology.
by Mark Millar (Author), Matteo Scalera (Cover Art, Artist), Giovanna Niro (Colorist), Clem Robins (Letterer)
Starting out with a big bang, and Nemesis has some big plans! This time he’s going worldwide, and that increases the fear factor as there are much more tagets for him to hit.
Yes, the authorites have a plan, but have far are they - and their mole - willing to go. Already she has made some big changes in order to be accepted, but will it be enough.
The grand commentary behind this, along with the big art style is excellent as Nemesis gets his plan going, what will be the spoilers behind this (if any) as we kick off here!

Huck: Big Bad World #4
Huck’s girlfriend left him for her old fiancé and has come home pregnant. Can the world’s nicest man forgive her? Also, what will Huck’s mother do when she gets her hands on the man who humiliated Huck and broke her heart? Warning: It’s not pretty.
by Mark Millar (Author), Rafael Albuquerque (Cover Art, Artist), Dave Mccaig (Colorist), Clem Robins (Letterer)
This was truly a bittersweet issue, with some excellent use of powers. Huck seems to get some luck here, although his world is turned upside-down in many ways this issue. The first is a return - this may not be best for Huck, but his kind heart is something that makes him a compelling character.
The second is something he is not aware of yet, and that is going to be heartbreaking. Even so, we get a look at those who have been after these special inviduals, and it looks like that will make up the second part of the arc.
The art is excellent, with motion, action mixed in showing some of the more tender moments.
