Two stories continue this week from Vault Comics. From the pages of Barbaric is Queen Of Swords as well as Money Shot Comes Again.
Queen Of Swords #2
Dive deeper into Soren's past, as Serra takes her to The Master-where perhaps she'll finally learn to contain her dark magic. Meanwhile, in the present, the world's deadliest and dysfunctional trio encounter Shriekers capable of bending reality around fear. Fortunately, Ga'Bar (who's stuck inside Deadheart's sword) is starting to really enjoy getting swung around by his new muscle mommy. Heads will roll!

This is indeed a deep dive. We not only get plenty of action, but we also get a good amount of backstory within this tale. The perfect part of this three-part mini-series.
In the present, we get various attacks. These are not only physical attacks but ones on the mind. Each of our adventures has its own demons, and this quest is pushing them into places that they don’t want to go. Before we get to that mental attack, though, there is one more physical side, showcasing some of the excellent art we can find throughout.
That art is shown off more as we delve into the darker parts of the story. this includes the past, where we learn more about the witches and their relationships. Some dark magics are being used here and built into the quest and the overall story arc.
I enjoy the relationships between the characters, with some good moments in the slightly quieter times. It is a fast-moving story but still has times of tenderness.
The conclusion of this middle part sets us up for the final showdowns and possibly some answers. And I can’t wait.
This is a must-read for anyone who loves action, intrigue, and the mystical. Brace yourselves for an exciting journey where every page turn promises more suspense! Stay tuned because you are in for a ride.
Money Shot Comes Again #3
The XXX-plorers are trapped on the body of a dead space god with demented tech billionaire Hannah Dorsch! Can they escape to complete their mission, or will they be forced to accept an indecent proposal? Meanwhile, Cherry Popstar tests her power.
(W) Tim Seeley (A/CA) Gisele Lagace (C) Carlos Badilla (L) Crank!
This was quite a detailed issue. Not only the XXX scenes (which were also detailed!) but a further look into what is happening out there in space.
There are some fantastic concepts here, with multi-billionaires, viruses, aliens and more.
I really enjoyed how this story was built up, and there were some clever discussions as the XXX-plorers navigated this new problem. The character of Hannah Dorsch is an interesting one and links to the beginning of the story well. Of course, there are twists and turns as we progress, which adds well to the story.
There are some interesting asides which combine into the larger arc. There are the plots and spies of the aliens, who have their own plans for this endeavour, and those under them are planning on thwarting their plans.
Meanwhile, Cherry is rebelling against her creator, and in subtle ways. I like the way this plays out, and you can see the clash of it all coming together.
The art in this series continues to be a lot of fun, and I really enjoy the special effects and ways the colours are being used.
And then there is the sexual element….
A good dirty read!
