Reviews: Queen Of Swords & Money Shot Comes Again
One completes and one continues from Vault Comics
From Vault Comics is the concluding issue of Queen Of Swords, while Money Shot Comes Again continues the space-sex shenanigans! Check out some of my thoughts.
Queen Of Swords #3
Serra confronts her wicked sister, while Deadheart and Ka make a final stand (exciting Ga'Bar the sword so much his hilt swells), and Soren's past and future entwine...in this epic end of the arc to QUEEN OF SWORDS, the stand-alone adventure bursting from the world of BARBARIC!

A fantastic finish here. We not only get a conclusion to this mini-arc (of sorts) but also something to look forward to in the main Barbaric storyline.
As the three of them progress through this story (possibly four), they have some serious ups and downs. This issue combines the moving parts of the characters and the main reason and thrust of the story. The quest was for one thing, yes, but along the, way, we found another.
This issue combines some brilliant and, in some places, gory action with sword battles and magic being used. I love the villains of the piece, and they all end up with some interesting comeuppance.
Meanwhile, the characters themselves, we get some well-written deep moments and some excellent humour.
I love the art style in this, and there are some fantastic scenes and colouring too.
A well-rounded conclusion!
Money Shot Comes Again #4
The XXX-plorers must make their way through a strange new world where their pasts will come back to haunt them! What is the evil billionaire's plan, and what does it have to do with Councilor Sinch, Dr. Gnon, and adult comix starlet Cherry?
Writer: Tim Seeley, Artist: Gisele Lagace, Colorist: Carlos Badilla, Letterer: Crank!, Designer: Tim Daniel, Cover A: Gisele Lagace, Cover B: Tim Seeley & Cover C: Skylar Patridge
Well, this was a twist, and there are some interesting dynamics going on here. And in this case, there is no sex with aliens either!
The team are struggling here, and we soon find out that there are schemes behind schemes, and these seem to go even lower.
Even so, it does look like we are getting to the endgame of the story arc, and all of the key players are fitting in. There are aliens, humans and other creations too. The pop culture references keep coming, and I’m pretty sure I missed a couple here as well.
I love how this all fits together with the different relationships. It’s not all about the blue stuff.
