From the Treasury Of British Comics, Scream! returns with a new oversized anthology.
Ghastly McNasty cordially invites you back into a world of terror! Scream! is back, with an all-new lineup of stories to make you shiver!
As officially revealed today by AIPT Comics, Scream! will be celebrating 40 years since it first burst onto the British comics scene by publishing an all-new oversized anthology. Featuring creators including Alex Paknadel, Torunn Gronbekk, VV Glass, Anna Readman, Emily Schnall, Alejandro Aragon and more, Scream! Will deliver 64 pages of terror this November!
First published in 1984 and hosted by the mysterious editor “Ghastly McNasty”, Scream! ran for fifteen issues which terrorised a whole generation of innocent young readers, electrifying them with horror tales like “The Thirteenth Floor”, “”The Dracula File”, “Library of Death” and more. With comics from legendary figures in the comics scene including Gerry Finley-Day, Eric Bradbury, Alan Moore, John Wagner, Alan Grant, Cam Kennedy and more, Scream! left an impression on anyone who read it. This new anthology celebrates all that made the original Scream! so shocking, with four new stories from some of the best creative talents in the industry today!
This collection includes a chilling new cover from comics superstar DaNi (Wonder Woman) and those brave enough to delve inside will find themselves confronted by all-new Dracula File and Thirteenth Floor strips, alongside two original stories – a peek at the dark history of a legendary 70s rock band, by Anna Readman and George Pooley, and a claustrophobic descent into the Paris catacombs, written and drawn by V.V. Glass.
The four stories included in this collection are:
The Dracula File by Alex Paknadel and Alejandro Aragon. A mysterious figure breaks into the home of Piper, a journalist who has been working on a story about mysterious disappearances across London. What does this stranger know – and how does it connect to the Lord of Darkness himself…?
The Thirteenth Floor by Torunn Gronbekk and Emily Schnall. Welcome to Maxwell Tower, your dream home of the future! Your every whim will be catered for by our in-house AI “Max”, who will make sure that you come to absolutely no harm during your stay. Unless you start to cause trouble, that is…
And His Skin Is Cold by Anna Readman and George Pooley. Head back to the 1970s, as a British rock n’roll band head out on their breakout American tour. But on one fateful evening, they find that while talent can bring them fame, fortune and immortality… that isn’t the only way to live forever…
Inverted Burial by V.V. Glass. Paris is the City of Love – but beyond the cosy cafes and romantic roads, what lurks deep down underneath the streets? Enter on a claustrophobic descent into the Paris catacombs…
You are cordially invited to enter the dark and twisted horrors of the all-new Scream!, arriving to a newsagent or comic shop near you on the 4th November 2024!
The excellent Find A Seat from Quindrie Press has been nominated for an award!
Find a Seat by Faye Stacey has been nominated for an Ignatz Award for Outstanding Minicomic!
It's hard being dumped. It's even harder when, on the way home from being dumped, you get on the wrong train. Some would say the hardest thing of all is being dumped, getting on the wrong train, then finding out that the train belongs to Death and they don't plan on letting you leave.
Find a Seat was one of the four comics from our 2023 collection published last summer. Find more information about the Ignatz Awards and learn how to vote on the Small Press Expo website.
Mad Cave Studios is building up its portfolio. Now, they have previewed the upcoming Flash Gordon Quarterly issue.
The Fall of King Vultan: A Riveting Return to the Golden Age of Science Fiction
Mad Cave Studios in partnership with King Features proudly presents the inaugural issue of FLASH GORDON QUARTERLY: THE FALL OF KING VULTAN —a multiverse of stories set in the beloved Flash Gordon universe, promising to thrill both longtime fans and new readers alike.
Written by the imaginative Dennis Culver and illustrated by the dynamic Pasquale Qualano, this 20-page epic plunges readers into the sky-high world of Sky City. Follow Vultan and his son, Talon, as they face off against a cadre of deadly mercenaries. Enhanced by the vivid colors of Mark Englert and the clear lettering of Charles Pritchett, this father-and-son saga is a heart-pounding testament to heroism and legacy.
Flash Gordon Quarterly presents stories that transcend existing continuity and explore new genres, featuring two unique "Flash Fiction" feature stories, each 8 pages long, that push the boundaries of the Flash Gordon mythos including ‘The Battle of Little Mingo’ (Louis Southard, Nuno Plati, João Lemos, Buddy Beaudoin) and the noir-infused mystery ‘Flash Detective Services’ (Jordan Thomas, Russell Olson, Lucas Gattoni). From a western to a detective thriller, with even more to come, these narratives celebrate the versatility and enduring appeal of Flash Gordon.
Don’t miss this thrilling kickoff to a series that promises to redefine Flash Gordon for a new generation! Flash Gordon Quarterly: The Fall of King Vultan is set to hit shelves on Sept. 4th.

Mad Cave Studios has a new mini-series coming, Missing The Moon is marketed towards “fans of H.G. Wells and James A. Corey, Mad Cave Studios drops a series surely to be the next neo-noir obsession”
Where the Moon’s light fades, darkness reveals the truth…
From writer Cory Crater (The Codex) and Argentinian comic book artist Damian Couceiro (Sons of Anarchy, Planet of The Apes, TMNT), comes MISSING ON THE MOON, your next neon-noir obsession and the latest sci-fi series from Mad Cave Studios!
The year is 1997, and crime on the Moon runs rampant...and in the Lunar colony of Buzztown, a billionaire's daughter has just gone missing. Washed-up private investigator Daniel Schwinn is tasked with finding the missing child, but in the process discovers a dark conspiracy stemming back decades...
Schwinn will have to navigate a world of undead drug addicts, mechanized robocops, and blue-skinned Soviets known as Darksiders to discover the truth. In doing so, he'll have to confront his own allegiances, and try to atone for past mistakes since resurfaced.
“Missing on the Moon is a short series jam-packed with so many ideas that it was borderline impossible to give an elevator pitch for,” said Cory Crater. “That's why we're grateful to Mad Cave for giving us the green light and allowing us creative liberty with absolutely no holds barred. Damian and I put our all into this, and with such a stellar team behind us, we were able to create a story that aims high, is authentic, and is free of compromise.”
Missing on the Moon #1 (of 4) drops Dec. 18th; a series perfect for fans of H.G. Wells and James A. Corey, and titles such as Gideon Falls, Total Recall, and Judge Dredd.
