Lihui Liang is behind CounterReality, a fantastic selection of art and comics. Featuring animals, meditation, portraits and comics.

There are multiple dimensions of our world, and many of them are unseen. Scientists tell a similar story with string theory. Counterreality chooses to tell absurd, wondrous stories of the other dimensions, where the rules of social norms in our reality do not apply. Each painting proposes a meaningful question in life, such as “who are we?”, “why are we here?” It stimulates curiosity and challenges anyone to think differently than before.

I met Lihui Liang recently and really enjoyed seeing her work and I thought it was something to share with all of you.

The two comics include Supergirl V1 and Kamama Finding Heart Special Edition:

Kamama, a friendly purple monster who has lost his heart, finds different ways to grow them back. Each comic provides practical tips in life for living fully and being your true self. It gives you a lot to think about each time you read it. Suitable for both kids and adults.
