Spotlight: Here Comes the Dragon

Last year I sent out details on Burnt Ends from Markus Pattern1. Now there is something new - Here Comes the Dragon.
Here Comes The Dragon Punch is an action packed comic, full of sweet, sweet kung fu moves, parkour and baking.
Split into two stories, the first issue of Here Comes The Dragon Punch focuses on Ash and August going for pizza. But their meal is interrupted and they get drawn into a tournament, where the prize is knowledge on how to access the Dragon Flame.
The second story is about Omar, and his quest for the mysterious scroll, but the master thief, Eagle, and Brian, the bad guy, who is massive, stand in his way. He must fight both to get the scroll and the answers he seeks.
Here Comes The Dragon Punch channels my love for Shonen Jump, Kung Fu movies and sports films.
For fans of Dragon Ball Z, Tmnt, Street Fighter, the Queen’s Gambit and Hilda.
I’ve had a chance to read through the first issue and it has plenty of action, humour and character moments to get into.
