The final part of the arc - it finishes with a bang!
From Image Comics, this is The Magic Order 3 #6.
SERIES FINALE It's the stunning conclusion to the third volume of Netflix's next big thing, as Leonard and Salome meet their destiny and everything falls apart for Cordelia like never before. This issue should come with a health warning: faint-hearted readers beware.

Wow! that was some clever writing going on here. This brings us around and has some good emotional punches. Dealing with rogue wizards, we get to see the ultimate sanction for breaking the rules. It’s not just a form of banishment - it’s worse than that. This issue gives us more than one type of betrayal, and there are aspects here hiding in plain sight, which makes reading the entire series something more.
It makes me wonder if other aspects within the series are a passing fancy that may come into play more deeply in the next arc.
Oh yes, there is more to come…
The Order doesn’t know it yet, but things are going to get a lot worse before they get better, and this looks to be building on that, as well as delivering a substantial story for the whole arc. I like how this all played out in the course of one issue, which included a detailed punishment scene. That is quite impressive, as things don’t seem rushed, as all the parts from previous issues fit into place.
The art continues to be excellent - changing from wide-open vistas to cities and the more exotic areas of the use of magic. There are some excellent scenes and views here, including the 3D Puzzle! This is really well done, with some brilliant colouring to go with it. I especially enjoyed the final page, with some clever use of magic and the way of things.
Roll on the 4th arc - it can’t come soon enough!
