Thought Bubble has been and gone, and over the coming weeks, as I catch up with all the reading I have to do, I will be posting more on some of the fantastic people and comics that were there.
Not only were the exhibitors amazing, but a lot of credit has to go to the ‘Redshirts’ there. Friendly and organised!
I even got a chance to see the mystical toilets of The Majestic…
These creators are responsible for the Kickstarter - Secrets Of The Majestic.
A 76-page anthology of toilet-themed comics, centred around one very special lavatory...
With conventions in mind, I have applied for a local comic convention to see how I do. This is at Leatherhead Library and is happening at the end of January 2024. Thanks to Comic Book News UK for the heads-up.
Finally, I am aware of much news coming from publishers being sent out. With that in mind, I think that from next week, there will be a round-up of all the news I receive like this. This will include previews and other news coming from larger publishers. You can get them more up-to-date on my Twitter and Facebook pages, but for more information, there will be a big news roundup at the end of the week.
This isn’t to say there will be less to read, but I want to try to concentrate more on smaller creators, crowdfunding and reviews as well as more unique news. When the news comes from PR - and there isn’t anything wrong with that - the news can be diluted. We shall see how that goes. I have experimented with threads, but I don’t think that will work.
