The ThunderCats Celebrate the Holidays in A Special!
After the recent holiday announcements from Dynamite Comics, there is one more to add to the list with the Thundercats!
Thunder... Thunder... ThunderCats! HO! Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products announce an exciting new comic book coming this December as a holidays treat for fans! The ThunderCats Ho!(liday) Special brings together a top creative team and fans of the franchise for a night to remember! Ed Brisson has established himself as a titan of this new era of ThunderCats comic books, steering the ship of both ThunderCats Lost and SilverHawks, as well as several specials. He's back for this festive fable and joined by artist Fabio Gallo for 28 story pages packed with fun.

The ThunderCats are out on a mission on their adopted home of Third Earth, deep up in the snowy mountains. The crew stumble into Snowman, the last survivor of his people. Understanding all too well the need to persevere in the face of overwhelming loss and risks of extinction, the 'Cats join hands with Snowman to learn about his history and festivities. This fateful crossing of paths coincides with the eve of the Festival of the Claw — a celebration with food and gifts, and to pay tribute to those who have been lost.
Most holidays don't go off without a hitch though, and the ThunderCats and their newfound friend are faced with quite the curveball in their itinerary. Just outside the mountaintop village that Snowman calls home, the evil monarch of the Crystal Kingdom, Queen Tartara, prepares her royal guard for a surprise attack. But even on the most hallowed occasions, Thunderans don't let their guard down and their battlecry will not be silenced!
"I’m very excited to be delving deeper into the traditions and tribulations that both define and plague Third Earth," said writer Ed Brisson. "Snowman is a childhood favourite character and I’ve been looking for the perfect story to bring him into this new era of ThunderCats since day one. That day is finally here and I cannot wait for readers to see what we’ve got in store for them.”
Superstar Ed Brisson (New Mutants, Predator) and renowned artist Fabio Gallo are joined by two talented artists contributing covers in Sebastian Piriz and Robert Quinn. Gallo himself also contributes a delightful cover for the occasion.
A fabulous fourth cover is available exclusively as part of a mystery blind bag variant! Each bag includes two separate copies of the issue, both of which are exclusive to the Blind Bag — one Blank Authentix edition, and also one of five unique variant cover art editions. 70% of bags will feature the mystery fourth cover with trade dress, with others may include black and white lineart or "virgin" variations on the other three revealed covers.
If AI Runs the World… Then AI Runs You
A new science fiction series from Mad Cave Studios, Cyberarchy, looks to be an entertaining read.
We were first!
Mad Cave Studios is proud to announce CYBERARCHY, the new dystopian retrofuturist series from writer Matt Hardy (Vehi-Kill), artist Clark Bint (Rebel Moon: House of the Bloodaxe), and letterer Rob Jones. The exciting new series brings readers a cautionary tale about AI, dependence, and what happens when machines decide they’ve had enough…

Ash is a newly ‘born’ robotic life-form, created as the newest denizen of a space liner run solely by mechanical life.
Ash’s creator, a robot called Rust, explains that all mechanical life and artificial intelligence on the ship decided they no longer served the human crew. In its place arose a Cyberarchy, a more efficient mechanical society.
But Ash soon realizes that all is not well—this Cyberarchy is a fractured society, with a secret hidden at the heart of it all that will one day pit all organic life against robots.
"I could tell you that Cyberarchy is about society’s over-dependence on technology and the dangers of AI replacing humanity,” said Matt Hardy. “I could tell you it’s about advanced civilizations collapsing under their own weight. Or that it’s about clinging to outdated social models long past their expiration date—But really, this was my excuse to dive headfirst into some wild, high-concept sci-fi while getting Clark to unleash his knack for insanely detailed tech and inventive worlds. At its core, it’s also a love letter to the obsessions that shaped me: a constant fear the world might end in a fiery blast… and an endless fascination with cool robots."
Clark Bint added: “Cyberarchy is our love letter to the sci-fi genre, from Mary Shelley monsters to modern-day machines. With the times we’re living in, this was a cathartic story to draw, and I had a blast with the retro designs that I’ve always wanted to see with modern sensibilities.”
Across four wide-screen issues, the creative team blends hard sci-fi worldbuilding with biting satire, class critique, and retrofuturist style. Expect shock twists, toy-like 1950s robot aesthetics, cosmic moral dilemmas, and a tone that veers from absurdly playful to chillingly dark.
For fans of Black Mirror, Love, Death & Robots, Descender, and 2000 AD, Cyberarchy offers a mix of cautionary futurism and vintage sci-fi flair. Think Ice Cream Man in space, wrapped in the visual DNA of Fallout and Metal Hurlant.
Cyberarchy #1 hits shelves and digital platforms, including Mad Cave’s series subscription bundle, on December 3, 2025. Preorder through your local comic shop or directly from Mad Cave.
