A new one-shot comic from Blue Flox Comics is coming soon to Kickstarter. I had a chance to get an advanced look at Wail.

Wail is a 32-page, full colour, horror comic written and drawn by Richard Fairgray.
People wonder why ghosts wail, but Beth knows the answer. It's because she never told her friend how she felt. At the funeral, she whispered it to the casket, but knew it was too little too late.

A new one-shot story from Blue Fox Comics, and this is a gripping and emotional story. Featuring mainly two characters we work our way through the relationships between them, all underpinned with the thoughts on ghosts and what they say along with what we would say to them.
As we work through the story, a disjointed yet easy-to-follow narrative takes us backwards and forwards in time. It is a gripping story that makes you smile and sad at the same time. Even so, it is well-crafted and not only makes this an excellent read but also makes you think.
The artwork is excellent, with a unique style which is easy on the eye, but there are some amazing aspects with the colouring and special effects. I like how the ghosts are portrayed.
Following the story, the creator provides some excellent commentary, which delves into the reasoning behind the story and the creative process and thoughts behind the comic's look. These are excellent reads and worth the time taken to write and read them.
Another thought-provoking one-shot from Blue Fox Comics and an introduction to a creator that I was unaware of but worth checking out.
