Putting together a selection of drawings, cartoons and more that I have produced over the years was difficult. Some were done with pens and paper, and some were digital. There was an overarching theme, though - our family adventures.

Two more comic strips here. I have always enjoyed the three-panel format. Doing the setup and then the punchline is always enjoyable, but in the first comic, I went for one panel, and even now, I really like how it draws the eye from left to right, so you get the punchline after the setup.
This first strip was based on a very true story. A couple of days before my brother’s wedding, where my son would be a page boy, he managed to get hit on the head by a tennis racquet. We initially didn’t say anything, and I drew the above comic feeling inspired. Then I posted on my Facebook. Within minutes, I got a message and then a phone call from my brother asking if it was from real life!
Whoops.
Luckily, the bruise did heal quickly, and I don’t think anyone noticed.
Next up is a recurring thing that happened after a couple of days of the boy feeling ill, lethargic and the like. We decided it was time to take him to the doctor. Usually for our own piece of mind and to make sure there weren’t any other nasty bugs floating around. 1
Of course, this doctor-surgery air obviously has something else, as from the point we arrived, he was then bouncing off the walls. Making us look daft!
