Vault Announces Barbaric: The Long Death From Moreci & Gooden
There is new action from Vault Comics with a new story arc featuring your favourite barbarians in Barbaric: The Long Death.
Vault is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved and best-selling comic book series, Barbaric, for its fifth story arc entitled, Barbaric: The Long Death. Co-created by Michael Moreci and artist Nathan Gooden, Barbaric: The Long Death, marks Gooden's return to the series after his tremendously successful work on the smash hit series with Post Malone, Big Rig. Joining Moreci & Gooden are long-time Barbaric collaborators Fabi Marques on colors, Jim Campbell on letters, and Tim Daniel on design.

BARBARIC loves you! AXE LOVES YOU! And he’s giving you his heart, in the form of THE LONG DEATH #1. Our heroes slaughter their way ever closer to the answers to their big questions. Owen learns all about his curse; Soren learns about her curse; Axe gets drunk. The consequences are…BARBARIC.
"So excited that Barbaric is back once again,” said Moreci of Barbaric’s return. “The stakes have never been bigger for Owen, Soren, and Axe--we're digging deeper into each of their pasts, which will inevitably inform their futures. A lot of changes are in store and, as always, it's going to be epic, it's going to be bloody, it's going to be Barbaric!"
"I am so excited to get Barbaric back into the market,” added Gooden. “I was thrilled to be a part of Post Malone's Big Rig creative team and learned a ton in the process. With the continuation of Barbaric, I will be applying some of what I learned to the new pages. The thing that has me most excited for the return is the addition of a new character that is unbelievably funny but important to the back story of our heroes Owen and Soren. Mike Moreci has really upped the stakes with action and drama pouring out on almost every page."
Barbaric is co-created by writer Michael Moreci and artist Nathan Gooden. Among Vault’s best-selling series, Barbaric has sold hundreds of thousands of copies worldwide and was named one of the best comics of 2021 by Entertainment Weekly, Thrillest, CBR, Comics Beat, & more. The story follows Owen, a bloodthirsty barbarian and his drunk axe as they roam an untamed, mythic realm battling supernatural cultists, hungry giants, creatures of the night, and more in their quest to somehow, amidst all this chaos, do some good.
Barbaric: The Long Death #1 hits store shelves in December 2025, and will feature an stellar line of variants from artists Pete Carroll, Jim Mahfood, Luana Vecchio, Corin Howell, and Brett Bean.

It Killed Everyone But Me #1 Sells Out—Second Printing on the way!
Good news for those who missed out on this excellent comic. Mad Cave Studios is doing a second printing of It Killed Everyone But Me #1.
Mad Cave Studios is thrilled to announce that IT KILLED EVERYONE BUT ME #1, the chilling slasher series from acclaimed writer Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Dead Day), artist Letizia Cadonici (House of Slaughter, The Neighbors), colorist Alessandro Santoro (The Neighbors), and letterer Taylor Esposito (Constantine), has officially SOLD OUT at the distributor level. The demand has been so overwhelming, a second printing is now on the way!
Blending raw emotion with a chilling narrative edge, It Killed Everyone But Me dives deep into pain, survival, and transformation—gripping readers with both heart and horror.

Years ago, a brutal slasher massacre in the woods left a group of teens dead. The lone survivor, Jessica, seemingly moved on from the horrific event and is now a successful therapist. But when a new series of murders occurs, Jessica returns to her hometown to confront the dark secrets of her past—only to discover the truth is far worse than she ever thought. The real killer has returned, and he’s just getting started. A pulse-pounding horror thriller, “It Killed Everyone But Me” takes everything you love about slashers and adds a fresh, terrifying twist.
Series writer Ryan Parrott had this to say:
“It’s a hard feeling to describe when a project you spend months, even years on, comes out and actually finds an audience. The fact that the first issue sold out is incredible, and it’s all because of the hard work of everyone at Mad Cave. It Killed Everyone But Me is my passion project about facing your pain and becoming a better person for it, and I genuinely hope everyone who took a chance on the first issue sticks around for the journey.”
The second printing of It Killed Everyone But Me #1 will feature art by Eisner Award-winning artist John Pearson, and will be available for order through Lunar Distribution. Retailers are encouraged to place orders early to meet continued demand.
It Killed Everyone But Me #2 hits shelves October 22, 2025, with Issue #3 following November 19, 2025. Don’t miss the chance to get caught up before the story goes even deeper.
