The often-mentioned Tales From The Quarantine has, for want of a better word, been a bit of a nightmare.
Now, many creators have submitted their work to this anthology, and there (at the time of writing) is no sign of a physical copy of the book. These are all creators that should be seen more - so here are some of the highlights from those creators. In my current list, there are 216 creators involved; perhaps there will be more to come…
Frazer Brown
Creator of the Kickstarter campaign that started it all. He’s promised the book, updates and more - and hasn’t delivered. It appears he has scrubbed TFTQ from various socials, and the Red Cabin Comics email now doesn’t work…
Frazer - if you’re reading this - please get in touch. People want their book or their money back.1
Charlie Adlard
Best known for his work on The Walking Dead with writer Robert Kirkman, there is also 2000 AD, Hellblazer, Batman and the X-Files in his portfolio.
Lucy Sullivan
Creator of SHELTER: Early Doors and the artist on IND-XED, Lucy has also a Black Hammer short story. I have copies of both SHELTER and IND-XED on my shelf and enjoy her art style.
John Pearson
The artist on Vault Comics’ Mindset, Blue In Green from Image Comics and the ongoing Blood Moon. John’s has an excellent style and there is so much brilliant detail.
Derek Drymon
He is best known for his work as a writer and artist on Rocko's Modern Life, SpongeBob SquarePants and Adventure Time. Derek has also been involved with writing and art on Spongebob Squarepants comics which come under Bongo Comics.
Craig Paton
Artist on the excellent Killtopia, as well as Bust and a special project for NHS Scotland - NHS 24: Everyday Heroes. I am a big fan of the art in Killtopia, and Craig’s art is excellent.
Robb Bihun
I couldn’t find a home for Robb Bihun, but he has not only The Hoon (above) credited to him but also Spongebob Squarepants and Negative Burn from Caliber Comics credited to him.
Well, he took over £30k of it for the Kickstarter…
