Review: 2000 AD - Prog 2304

Judge Dredd: Buratino Must Die by Rob Williams (w) Henry Flint (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

Some good proactive ideas from Dredd here, and I like the way it pans out. The end of this prog was pretty creepy. I enjoyed the art here.

Chimpsky’s Law: A Terrifically Disturbing Adventure by Ken Niemand (w) PJ Holden (a) Chris Blythe (c) Simon Bowland (l)

Things start to make sense for Chimpsky. I like how it finally makes sense, and the escalation was well done. Some good fun art here too.

Hope... In The Shadows: Reel Two by Guy Adams (w) Jimmy Broxton (a) Jim Campbell (l)

Things are going up here. It’s like doomsday! The magic side is exciting and I wonder what the planned endgame is. I like some of the expressions here.

Enemy Earth: Book One by Cavan Scott (w) Luke Horsman (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)

I like the way the action in this series ramps up. We get a manic escape with some good commentary. An enjoyable read.

Hershey by Rob Williams (w) Simon Fraser (a) Simon Bowland (l)

Frank seems kind of happy here, but I worry about where that will lead. Especially the end of the issue. Hershey is reverting to type here, and I like that the Judge isn’t a fool.
