JUDGE DREDD // HATER by
Long storytelling. From the Apocalypse War to now! It is an excellent look at how hatred can fester and a great build-up. I’m looking forward to seeing where this leads to.
THE OUT // BOOK FOUR by Dan Abnett (w) Mark Harrison (a) Simon Bowland (l)
I’ve seen bluffing on a bad hand, but this is bluffing with no cards. Syd seems a little self-destructive, though, and that is a result of what has gone before. I continue to love the art and panelling in this story.
NIGHTMARE NEW YORK by Kek-W (w) John Burns (a) Annie Parkhouse (l)
Building up the story, and we learn the result of the strange marking. It links the story to the area and I like how this plays out underground and overground. Some answers soon?
BRINK // CONSUMED by Dan Abnett (w) INJ Culbard (a) Simon Bowland (l)
A rescue! Finally! We are so close to getting to the bottom of both of the mysteries in this story. Even so, that final panel will stick with me for a while. I’m already looking forward to what comes next!
ROGUE TROOPER // WHEN A G.I. DIES by Garth Ennis (w) Patrick Goddard (a) Rob Steen (l)
The use of Gunnar was excellent here, and that makes the action scenes really enjoyable. Meanwhile, up in space there seems to be a lot more going on and the final panel links well to what we have seen before.
