The final issue of Big Guns Stupid Rednecks is here now from Band Of Bards. Check out my thoughts below.
The finale with the biggest guns and stupidest rednecks is here! With big anniversary show on the way Clint has no idea of what’s to come. He’ll have to fight his cyborg brother and stop the Earth from being invaded.
This will be his toughest matchup yet and the fate of the world is at stake!

Completing the arc and the series, we get a great combination of the celebrity side of the deathmatches and the action.
With the reveal of Clint’s cyborg brother as his next challenger, we get a decent amount of action in the middle part of this story. What is also good is to see some of the undercard fights that happen to round off the hefty ‘Premium’ feel to the events.
I enjoyed the emotion shown here. A lot was going on in the fight, which was pretty evenly matched and well played out.
The beginning also shows the PR side and the backstage jostling in these sorts of companies.
The finish is enjoyable, and although there is an ending, I see the potential for a return to this story, perhaps with a ‘Monday Night Wars’ feel, ala WWF/WCW? That would be fun in this setting.
The art is entertaining and has a brilliant cartoony feel to it. With all the alien species and action, it is well done—especially some of the set-piece aspects.
This was a fun series and didn’t take itself too seriously—a great, entertaining read.
