Zombies are invading Heaven!
How can things get any worse?
Well, this mid-point in the story ramps up the threat level while also adding some interesting new aspects to the story.
The difference between chaos and order couldn’t be clearer in this issue. The angels are leading the fightback and clensing heaven to try to restore some semblance of order, while the zombie horde is creating chaos and, at this point, seems to be winning.
Of course, they are just mindless zombies; things couldn’t get any worse, could they?
Yes, they can, with an interesting twist on the infection and some order helping the chaos of the zombies. It makes the threat a whole lot bigger, with some semblance of a plan coming into place. This was well played out and has some big ramifications.
Those ramifications are felt as above and so below, with angels and humans fighting back against a powerful foe and now having an aim in their (un) lives.
To their credit, the angels try to fight back, but there seems to be no way as their more powerful weapons are destroyed and their army is falling. Talking of falling…
The final plan is pretty desperate and takes an old saying about the enemy of my enemy. This will be an interesting conclusion to come!
The artwork shows the chaotic aspects well—chock full of detail and gore, it has some excellent scenes with clever colouring and brilliant expressive moments.
Let’s see if the final issue brings on the final time!
